Albemarle Chorale Presents - "A Woman’s Voice: Music by Women"
Location: First United Methodist Church in Elizabeth City
This program will showcase the music written by women spanning the years from classical to contemporary. The compositions featured include Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel’s “Garden Songs”, “I Thank You God” composed by Gwyneth Walker, and “Words from Two Women,” poems by women put to music by composer Jane Marshall.
Concert begins at 4:00 p.m. Admission is free, and donations are greatly appreciated.
Participants between 3 to 5 years of age, accompanied by an adult, will discover the wide-ranging world of hats and the diverse shapes, sizes, and colors they come in.
